Hello! I'm Moriah, I landed in Boone in 2019 for Appalachian State and never left, partly because of the mountains and mostly because my dog, Rosemary, insists that this is where our hearts belong. I have always been a collector of little passions, picking up new skills like crocheting or learning an instrument or anything that lets my creativity wander. That same curiosity is what led me to photography. I began by taking photos of friends from school, felt a spark that pushed me to buy my first camera, and never looked back. What started as a hobby has grown into a love I feel honored to share with the world.

I am drawn to the quiet, in‑between moments that feel tender, unfiltered, and full of life. Boone has taught me how to slow down and pay attention to the small details that make a memory feel sacred, and that is exactly what I bring into my work. My goal is to create intimate, emotion‑filled images that hold your story gently and truthfully. Instead of stiff poses, I offer a space where you can simply exist with the person you love, and I will be there to capture the magic that rises naturally between you.
